The acid battery extra APC APCRBC142 UPS battery box (RBC) used in Schneider Electric's APC is limited in the battery box and has a sealed spill-proof project. Precautions for safe handling:

Use only in well-ventilated areas. Be careful when fraternization with water; do not add aquatic to the corrosive liquid. Be sure to add the harsh liquid to the water while stirring to stop the release of heat, steam, and smoke. Wear suitable personal protective gear and avoid direct contact. Do not get into eyes, skin, or sartorial. Do not respire mist, vapor, or spray. Avoid direct conductive influences between the positive and bad terminals to prevent short circuits. Wash methodically with soap and water after treatment and before eating, drinking, or burning.

Safe storage conditions:

The battery should be placed upright, away from fire. Stack the series to prevent accidental contact between the stations and/or other damage to the terminals or the vessel. When possible, store on a transport pallet or shelf. Do not stack loaded trays or defers on top of other batteries. Store in a cool/low illness, well-ventilated place. Avoid storing in areas bare to heat or solar energy accretion.

Accidental release measures:

Do not pass through spilled physical. Wear appropriate personal defensive equipment and avoid direct contact. Unless wearing suitable protective clothing, do not touch injured containers or spilled materials. Publicize enclosed areas. Do not get into eyes, skin, or sartorial. Do not respire dust or mist. If the battery leaks put the battery in a heavy-duty malleable bag. Cover the leakage with soda ash, etc. Neutralize the leakage area with (soda or lime, diluted with acetic acid). Make sure the combination is neutral, then collect the residue and put it in a bucket or other suitable ampule.

Good general airing should be used. The ventilation rate should match the environment. If related, use process enclosures, local exhaust airing, or other engineering controls to keep airborne levels below the recommended exposure limits. If the contact limit has not been established, keep the airborne level at a satisfactory level.

Transport information:

The battery pack can be shipped distinctly in an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or battery cabinet. The spill-proof lead-acid batteries used in these cordless packs are:

·         Expert by its builder to withstand IATA/ICAO vibration and difference weight tests, and at a temperature of 55 degrees Celsius, the electrolyte will not flow out of the cracked or ruptured shell, and there is no free runny to flow. Schneider Electric only allows the use of series that meet these values.

·         Pack in UPS according to ADR/RID Special Delivery 598, IMDG Special Provision 238, and IATA-DGR Special Facility A67, or following ADR/RID Special Provision 598, IMDG Singular Provision 238, and IATA Requirements-DGR Special Establishment A67 When shipped within the UPS or in its original battery pack packaging. Secure in a way that will not slip, fall, or be damaged;

·         When considering more than 2.5 kg, equipped with handling devices, unless they are correctly stacked, for example: on a pallet;

·         There are no unsafe alkali or acid traces on the outside, and to stop short circuits.

·         The outer packaging may be labeled "NONSPILLABLE" or "NONSPILLABLE CORDLESS". When not marked, the outer wrapping shall be marked with one of these two expressions.

·         Air transport requires the subsequent remarks in the "Nature and Quantity of Cargo" box on the main air waybill: "Unlimited according to special rules A67"
