Safety and general information:
Observe all countrywide and local electrical codes. All
wiring must be achieved by a capable electrician. Changes and alterations to
this device not expressly approved by APC may void the guarantee. This up is
for inside use only. Do not operate this SRT1000XLI APC Smart-UPS in places bare to direct sunlight,
liquids, extreme dust, or humidity. Make sure that the airing holes on the UPS
are not jammed. Leave enough space for good drying. For UPS with
factory-installed power cords, attach the UPS power cord directly to the wall
opening.
Do not use surge protectors or extension cords. The gear is
heavy. Always practice safe lifting methods suitable for the weight of the
tackle. The battery is heavy. Eliminate the battery before connecting the UPS
and external cordless pack (XLBP) to the rack. In a rack-mount shape, always
install the XLBP at the bottom. The UPS must be connected above the XLBP. In a
rack-mounted outline, peripheral gear is always installed above the UPS. Extra
safety information can be found in the safety guide that came with this
expedient.
Electrical Safety:
For models with hard-wired inputs, a capable electrician
must be connected to the branch circuit (power supply). For models with a
pluggable power cord, the input socket must be properly stranded. The
protective earth electrode of the UPS carries the leakage current from the load
apparatus (computer equipment). Install cloistered grounding conductors as part
of the branch route that supplies the UPS.
The conductor size and lining material must be the same as
the grounded and ungrounded branch power electrodes. The conductor is typically
green, with or without yellow stripes. The UPS input foundation conductor must
be properly linked to the protective ground on the facility panel. If the UPS
input power is if, by a separately resulting system, the foundation conductor
must be properly connected to the power modifier or motor-generator set. When a
distinct ground terminal is used, the leak current of the pluggable Type a UPS
may surpass 3.5 mA.
Battery safety:
When substituting the batteries, replace them with the same
amount and type of batteries as first installed in the device. The battery
typically lasts two to five years. Ecological factors affect battery life.
Increased ambient fever, poor utility power quality, and recurrent short-term
discharges will cut battery life. The battery should be substituted before the
end of its facility life. When the device indicates that the battery needs to
be replaced, replace the battery directly.
Schneider Electric uses maintenance-free sealed lead-acid
sequences. Under normal use and treatment, there is no contact with the
internal mechanisms of the battery. Overpricing, overheating, or another misuse
of the cordless can cause the battery electrolyte to discharge. The free
electrolyte is toxic and may be damaging to the skin and eyes. Already linking
or replacing the battery, remove conductive jewelry such as manacles, watches,
and rings. High energy transitory through conductive materials may cause severe
wounds. Do not throw the battery into fire. The battery may detonate. Do not
open or damage the cordless. The released material is harmful to the skin and
eyes and may be poisonous.
LCD interface angle adjustment:
The angle of the LCD interface can be attuned for easy
viewing of the displayed info.
·
Eliminate the front bezel.
·
Locate the button at the bottom of the display
border panel.
·
Press the button to slide out the bottom of the
LCD screen. When the screen reaches its all-out angle, a clicking sound will be
heard.
Feature:
Intelligent battery management provides the subsequent
functions:
·
Monitor and inform users of the health status of
each RBC.
·
Monitor and display the end-of-life date of each
RBC on the UPS display border screen.
·
The UPS noises an obvious alarm and displays a
message on the UPS display interface screen indicating the estimated battery
life. On the UPS display border screen, the user can set the number of days
before the noticeable alarm is heard, and the message looks on the UPS display
limit screen.
·
Mechanically detect the addition or removal of
XLBP and RBC.
·
Monitor the internal temperature of each XLBP
and robotically adjust battery charging.
