How does work HPE AM867C 8/8 (8) Full Fabric Ports Enabled San Switch? Are available at the lowest price on Mi Atlantic EU
HPE 8/8 (8) full fiber ports:
Ideal for entry-level SANs, the HPE 8/8 SAN Switch is aimed
at SMB enterprises and is an edge switch for core-to-edge SAN environments. The
8/8 SAN Switch provides SAN connectivity that increases system performance,
maximizes the value of virtual server deployments, and reduces overall storage
costs. The 8/8 Base SAN switches provide an affordable single-switch solution
for new small SAN installations and connect only to storage and servers. An
optional Full Fabric SAN postponement license delivers connectivity to
additional switches. This comes with a full material license to connect to
multiple changes. Both 8-port switches offer growth options for non-disruptive
expansion to up to 24 enabled ports. The 8/8 SAN switch offers auto-sensing 1,
2, 4, and 8 GB full-duplex performance for up to 128 GB of throughput. To
protect investment, current 8/8 SAN switches can be equipped with 4 GB B-series
SFPs and can be upgraded to 8 GB B-series SFPs when necessary.
High performance:
Eliminate/avoid performance bottlenecks in high-density
virtualized server environments.
Enables rapid deployment with minimal configuration in
existing environments; delivers maximum performance with complete backward and
forward investment protection.
Affordable with "pay-as-you-go" 8-port scalability
for easy, non-disruptive growth in highly dynamic business environments.
High scalability:
Includes simultaneous wire-rate support for all ports to
provide high-performance systems with up to 384 GB/s full-duplex aggregate
bandwidth.
Provides seamless server connectivity to multi-vendor fabric
environments and allows large numbers of servers to connect to the SAN fabric
without increasing the number of switch domains.
Allows up to eight ports (at 2, 4, or 8 GB/s speeds) to be
combined between a pair of switches to form a single logical ISL at speeds up
to 64 GB/s (128 GB/s full-duplex) for maximum optimal bandwidth utilization and
load balancing.
The improved total cost of ownership:
Optimize fabric-wide performance and load balancing by
automatically routing data to all available paths in the fabric.
Simplify SAN management without mapping application
performance requirements to port speeds. Advanced fabric services for
optimizing SAN presentation and resource use.

Extraordinary general meeting:
Enhanced Group Management (EGM) is a FOS license that is
included with all B-Series switches and supports the multi-switch operation. It
helps automate operations across multiple switches to save time and simplify
repetitive, often error-prone operations. EGM improves consistency between
structures while minimizing the risks associated with configuration mismatches
for potential downtime. EGM provides simplified troubleshooting for more
effective structural monitoring and diagnostics.
