Description Opt core's OPB10G-xx10DxR series single-mode transceiver Module Fiber Optic is a small form-factor pluggable bidirectional module for optical data communication such as 10GBASE-LR/LW as defined by IEEE 802.3ae. It comes with an SFP+ 20-pin connector for hot-swappable functionality. The SFP+BIDI transceiver is designed for single-mode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of 1270nm or 1330nm; the transmitter part adopts multiple quantum well DFB, which conforms to the class 1 laser standard of the international safety standard IEC-60825.

The receiver section uses an integrated Into GaAs detector
preamplifier (IDP) and limiting post-amplifier IC mounted in an optical
header. The transceiver designs are optimized for high performance and
cost-effectiveness, providing customers with the best telecom solution. In
addition, the 10GBASE-BX SFP+ 10km transceiver integrates an SFF-8472 compliant

Indoor Operation For convenient multimode connectivity
beyond the 100-meter limit of Ethernet cables, use the UF-MM-10G for distances
up to 300 m and speeds up to 10 Gbps or use the UF-MM-1G for distances up to
550 m, Speeds up to 1 Gbps. To connect copper Ethernet cables to SFP ports, use
UF-RJ45-10G in SFP+ ports for speeds up to 10 Gbps and distances up to 30 m, or
UF-RJ45-1G in SFP ports for Up to 1 Gbps and distances up to 100 m. For short detachments
of 1 to 3 m, use UDC-1, UDC-2, or UDC-3 direct connect passive copper cables among
SFP+ ports to achieve hurries up to 10 Gbps.
Outdoor Use For long-range single-mode operation, use the
UF-SM-10G at 10 Gbps for distances up to 10 kilometers, or the UF-SM-1G for
distances up to 3 kilometers at 1 Gbps. To defend DC power and fiber, deploy
Edge Point® with Edge Control™. Deploy two-way (two-way) models UF-SM-1G-S or
UF-SM-10G-S to maximize the reuse of existing infrastructure. You must deploy
the Bidi model as a paired module set because the pair of modules use two
different wavelengths (upstream and downstream) on a single fiber.

Memory-mapped 10GBASE-BX SFP+ transceivers provide serial ID
memory contents and diagnostic information about current operating conditions
over a 2-wire serial interface (SCL, SDA). Implement diagnostic information
with internal or external calibration, including receive power monitoring,
transmit power monitoring, bias current monitoring, supply voltage monitoring,
and temperature monitoring.
